These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to Taptrim's barber booking, reminders, and membership tools. By creating an account or using Taptrim you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organisation you represent.

Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding contract. Safeguard your login credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Use of Services
Use Taptrim to manage legitimate barbershop operations. Do not misuse the platform to send spam, process fraudulent payments, harvest data, or otherwise violate law or third-party rights. We may suspend access when we detect abuse or security risks.
Plans, Billing & Deposits
Plan features and pricing are listed at checkout and renew automatically each billing cycle until cancelled. Deposits, memberships, SMS charges, and add-ons are billed according to your configuration. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from the dashboard; changes take effect at the next billing period unless stated otherwise.
Customer Payments
Taptrim processes payments via Stripe and similar providers. You authorise us to transmit payment instructions on your behalf. You are responsible for complying with applicable card network rules, refund obligations, and transparency around deposits or cancellation fees.
Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of barbershop data, client lists, content, and branding you provide. You grant Taptrim a limited licence to host, process, and transmit that data solely to deliver the services. Taptrim software, documentation, and trademarks remain our property.
Third-Party Services
Certain features rely on third parties such as Stripe (payments), carriers (SMS), Resend (email), and Supabase (infrastructure). By enabling those features you authorise Taptrim to share the necessary data with each provider.
Confidentiality & Data Protection
Each party agrees to protect the other's confidential information and follow the Taptrim Privacy Policy. You are responsible for securing any exported data or integrations you build on top of Taptrim.
Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features to maintain security, compliance, or performance. For significant changes we will provide advance notice when practical.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Taptrim Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or punitive damages, lost profits, or loss of data. Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid to Taptrim in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may cancel at any time by downgrading or closing your account. We may suspend or terminate access for material breaches, unpaid invoices, or legal/regulatory requirements. Following termination we will delete or anonymise data in line with our retention policy unless legally required to retain it.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Courts in San Francisco County, California, have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory local consumer protections.

Updates
We may revise these Terms occasionally. Continued use of Taptrim after updated Terms go live constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
